>Game Night Party Ideas

December 8, 2008

It’s cold outside (for most of us anyway), why not bring the party inside and have a game night! Games are a great way to bring new and old friends together for fun, food and drinks. You can play traditional and non-traditional games, thats up to you. Take Game Night to the next level with these items:

Use chic table decorating ideas and displays to make it a Posh Event. Flowers were placed in vases with domino and poker chips. Use cards as placeholders.

Use card themed decor to bring out the game night theme. (Please dont over do it with this stuff , a little can go a long way, remember, “posh” chic”, not kiddy party.

In this picture, they used bowls that resembled game pieces and added actual games pieces on the table for decoration.

Love it! You can customize this tickets to say basically whatever you want to fit YOUR event. I will be using these for our superbowl party next year!

Why not send someone a card as an invitation? These were used as wedding invitations but you can certainly use them for any type of event. If they cant get the hint from this, maybe they shouldnt be apart of game night. I think these are chic and fun!

You can customize drink coasters with your game night theme, date and name.

Posh Idea: Have different stations set up with several games going at one time. This way, the person who doesnt like to play spades can play taboo with another group. Or you can play several games back to back to keep everyone engaged.
When choosing food for your game night, choose appetizers and finger foods that guests can handle in their hands. You should anticipate at least 3-4 pieces of each item per guests. Guests will most likely nibble on food throughout the night as they play games. You can set your table buffet style to allow guests to eat as they please. Be sure to serve items that are good at room temperature.
Here are some cool recipes!

If you know anything about me, you would know that Family Feud is my all time favorite game in America! Can somebody PLEASE tell me where I can buy one of these (and not for $1500!). I know I can rent one, but I want this set all the time!
